The Commonwealth Ports Authority (CPA), in collaboration with the United States Air Force, invites you to “Pet-a-Jet” on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The open house will allow visitors of all ages to get up close to a KC-135 aircraft currently parked at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport and meet some of the amazing people behind the operations and success of the current Cope North Exercise.

Coronavirus: CPA provides rent relief to ease strain on tenants

April 20, 2020 On April 20, 2020, the Board of Directors of the Commonwealth Ports Authority (CPA) agreed to provide rent relief to CPA tenants due to the negative impact that COVID-19 has had on the CNMI economy.

CPA to receive over $22 million from CARES Act Airport Grants

April 15, 2020 On March 27, 2020, the CARES Act appropriated nearly $10 billion to eligible airports to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus impacts, including support for continuing airport operations.

March 30, 2020 Like many other CNMI agencies, the Commonwealth Ports Authority (CPA) has had to implement austerity measures that include the reduction of work hours. Therefore, this is to announce that the CPA Administrative Offices at the airports and seaports will now be closed every Friday beginning April 3, 2020.

Travel Suspension Authority

March 19, 2020 CPA would like to reiterate that the authority to suspend travel in and out of the Commonwealth lies with Homeland Security and not the CNMI Government.
